The action takes place once the lid is closed. In just 2 minutes, the electric pump quickly removes air and moisture, forming a vacuum-tight seal. Each time the box is opened and closed, the pump starts again. The result: fresh food when you want it. Boxes are available in 3 different sizes that all operate via an AC adapter (included). The Large box also operates with 4 D batteries (not included). The Large and Round Boxes have removable, dishwasher safe trays. The Personal box also operates with the included manual pump.
